What is ESL?
A standard feature on all of our catalog checks, Enhanced Security Level (ESL™) is a higher level of security designed to combat Counterfeiting (desk-top publishing, scanning and copying), and Alteration (using chemicals to erase information you put on the check so it can be substituted with information beneficial to the criminal). The back of the check features the intricate Security Weave™ background design printed in a highly reactive Fugitive ink. Together, these new features add a significantly higher level of protection to the check than standard FSA features.
